This case study presents my redesign of the ING mobile banking app for the German market. Through user research, surveys, and app store reviews, I identified major pain points: unclear navigation, missing budgeting tools, and lack of language accessibility. I addressed these by restructuring the home experience with clear tabs and quick access, introducing budgeting and spending categorization, and adding an English toggle for international users. The redesign reduces user frustration, lowers support tickets, and positions ING to keep pace with rapidly developing fintech competitors.
